Unicycling Skiing

Salut,

a friend told me about a brand new cycle magazin, featuring an article about
mountain or snow unicycling in the mountains. He didn’t knew anything specific
about it since he’s no unicycler. Does anybody know anything about it? If I find
the magazin I will present the article somehow. Maybe on my homepage. BTW, I
bought some very knobby tires some weeks ago and it’t snowing here in Stuttgart,
Germany, since two days. I still can ride without chains, but it gets tricky.
OTOH, the grip of the tires is very good and the pressure per area is very high
for a unicyle. I just learned, that a tank has the same pressure per area as an
adult, so I guess, that unicycles must have a higher pressure per area than a
tank. If I consider in what kind of terrain the army uses tanks … I think I
CAN go anywhere with my unicycle.

Merry Christmas, a lot of snow for all us snow unicyclers and a happy new year.

The January issue of BICYCLING Magazine contains an article about George Peck,
mountain unicyclist from Alaska. This is of course in English and I don’t know
if BICYCLING is even available in Germany.

I’d be very interested in seeing any other mass-media articles on MUni, in
any language.
