Unicycling show in the World Games 2001

Hi all,

If you remember, sometime ago I wrote about the World Games, an Olympic-like
event. I am getting the hosts interested in having us perform at the next event
in 2001. Please add this to the agenda of the IUF Meeting. I have been talking
to World Games officials here and am handling the negotiations.

The World Games is a major “competitor” to the Olympic Games. The next games
will be held in the north of Japan, Akita Prefecture, in August 2001. Details
can be found here:

Any input is welcome. This is, I think, a step in the right direction toward our
Olympic goal, and I would like everyone’s support in making this a reality.

For the meeting, sounds like a simple announcement of this upcoming event is the
way to go. People who are interested in attending/performing should contact
Jack. Will there be any budget to help pay the costs of travelers?

This sounds reasonable. I already consulted all of you about the agenda, and
after incorporating your suggestions, I sent the information to Hu Jing Mei, the
person in charge of coordinating the meeting.

I am willing to grant you 15 minutes of the meeting. If it is too late to modify
the agenda, it will be the first on other matters. Follow John’s advise, make a
simple, but concrete announcement and consider bringing something in writing. Of
course, everybody will be willing to attend, the key is what kind of help, if
any, the performers can receive.
