Perhaps this is how she rode into battle?
Apparently the Romans played basketball on ultimate wheels. From the main piazza in Trento:
In the dark as well - she looks to have a lamp in the other hand 
It’s really hard to get an indoor court.
It must have been some other nocturnal ball sport because basketball hadn’t been invented. At least there’s no mistaking the UW.
That basketball might actually be a human head that is being carried. UW, human head, lantern . . .and I thought unicycle polo was a crazy game.
