Hey there people of unicyclist.com. It’s been a couple years since I’ve been on here and thought this would be the perfect place to pose a question I have been thinking about. I plan on taking a road trip come spring time and I want to hit some nice spots to unicycle. I’m from Ohio and I think I want to head West most likely some where near Utah if I have enough time. So the question is where are the sweet spots so I can start planning my adventure in unicycling? I ride a 20x2.5 Nimbus Unicycle which has been through quite a bit the past 7 years. I’ve replaced a few parts but it’s pretty darn sturdy still at this point so all terrain is ok as well as some street.
For a second there, I thought you wanted to ride across the US on a 20"! Sounds like you are looking for locations to ride. Trials? Street? Just showing off?
I recommend starting off locally, at the best amusement park in the world, Cedar Point. You’ve probably already been there. And they probably won’t let you ride in there unless they want to pay you.
Are you looking for scenery, terrain, favorite spots of others? I recommend maybe starting in Utah, at the revived Moab Muni Fest in March! Those rides are great for Trials unis, the scenery is spectacular, and the trails are all legal to ride on.
