unicycling in space

I was just thinking how kewl it would be to unicycle in space. Yo ucould like bounce into the air and do front and back flips maybe. it would be awsome! everything would be in slow motion it would seem. YOu know anyone who could hook my up and make this happen? JK:D

skydiving same thing but with wind:D

but you cant do low gravity trials or Muni when skydiving !

Unless you had something to keep the tire on the surface to begin with you wouldn’t be able to ride anyway. It would just be floating around with some extra baggage between your legs.

For enough money though you can now go on those parabolic flights that simulate wieghtlessness. I think it’s only a few thousand dollars now.

Re: unicycling in space

There’s something wrong with the concept here, I just can’t put my finger on it…

Would be fun though.

There was a thread, last year i think, that was about doing trials on the moon and the effects of the weaker gravitational field, it turned in to a complete brawl with some very dodgey science thrown in. I could hook you up with a skydive simluator, would give you apparent weightlessness although it aint all that cheap.

yea ive heard of that, but i dont think its worth doing for a couple thousand, maybe more like a couple hundred. That’d be sweet!

Re: unicycling in space

‘in space’ wouldn’t be all that great.
but on another planet, which is what you’re thinking of, would be super cool. like on the moon, so our weight is 1/6 of what it is on Earth…that would be a lot of fun.

underwater mmmm…

And the T-shirt is at the printers.

1: A unicycle in space might as well be a pogo stick, 2: I think your thinking low gravity, and not space, 3: wouldn’t just jumping around with your own two feet in space be adaquet for fun?

I actually rode (hopped) my unicycle into my friend’s swimming pool at a party over the weekend. Then I rode from the shallow end to the deep end and back. It was much harder than I had anticipated

And yes, I made sure to dry it off as soon as I got out.

Re: Re: unicycling in space

If hes bouncing hes alive, if hes alive hes got air.
