Well I am a director of JUA. When you get here just give me a ring and I’ll
connect you with all the right people. Unicycling is very popular here, etc.
I’ll tell you about it when you’re here. In the meantime, if you want you can
contact the JUA. Here is the info:

Has anyone ever gone to Japan? Because when I was about 10 I went there (I’m 14
now). While there I visited a public school for a day and they had unicycles
there to ride during recess! I thought that this was so cool that it inspired me
to go out and start unicycling myself. I don’t know if it is like this all over
Japan but I just thought I would share this.

Actually, there are people in Japan reading this newsgroup!

I have a picture of a school in Japan I visited in 1987. (You have to scroll
down a bit): http://www.calweb.com/~unifoss/garage/piles.htm
