Well, i have taught people how to unicycle, now i just need a gf
my girl likes to ride around with me sometimes, but she takes a bike. she refuses to learn to uni. she says it’s because she’s too clumsy (she is) but this thread taught me that “african americans” (a term i only use derisively around people that are too pc) probably just hate unicycling.
Is this close enough?
My girlfriend taught ME how to ride.
Now she’s my wife, and we both ride on a very regular basis.
My gf tried to ride it once when we were just friends, found it was actually quite difficult, then gave up. I’m hoping to teach her at some point but I guess it might have to wait until the summer - I don’t think she’s keen enough to learn to ride outside in the cold and rain 
In the meantime, I’ll take the uni out and she’ll blade.

My ex girlfriend was actually up for it, she had a unicycle when she was younger (and that’s how we made contact at first, strange), and her parents were a bit curius about what i was doing on one wheel, so they invested in a 24" dodger…
And my girlfriend started practising…
And she actually got some 100+ metre rides, and she could half the time at lest, start form the sidewalk, sometimes riding in a U-turn and returning to allmost the spot where she started…
But that was it, she didn’t wan’t to learn any further…
We broke up last week though. 
ive gotten two girls into riding. i dont like eitehr of them, and i actually dont talk to either of them anymore really. as far as like a girlfriend, the girl that i like, (who isnt really my girlfriend yet, cuz like …twitches ya know i only know how to uni, and im not good with girls…) we had to make a little paper design thing, and she made hers a unicycle guy. it was so hott. so yea i probably should do something about it. i get so nervous though, girls think im jsut ‘nice’. but im umm…crazy and unpredictable?

I’m working on teaching mine to ride a pushbike first.
Unicycling after a session on the pushbike with her is quite the ego boost, but don’t tell her i said that!
I can’t hope to top Corbin, but…
Morgan picked up unicycling in a couple of hours a little over a year ago, and now frequently joins me for hard MUni rides with the Santa Barbara crew. She can ride most of the trails now!

I can’t ride a bike!! But I can unicycle. MY ex rides, and I’m teaching my guy to ride, but he’s a bit busy at the moment o.O He’s ridden for about half an hour in the bike shop he works at, LOL. He did pretty well! He can’t ride, but he can hop.
Don’t worry about “what girls think”. Girls are all different.
If she made a unicycle guy, (and if you’re the only one she knows) then you are what she likes.

Well I would teach my girlfriend now to ride, but she can’t walk yet. Haha. Kiddin! Craddle robber. hahaha. I teach all the “i believe long term” girlfriends i’m dating after about 4 months of dating. Kyla Hammer (my girlfriend) is doing well yep, and she’s got an account on unicyclist.com now. I helped teach my wife to ride. She’s adamant about me not teaching my girlfriend anything. 
I also taught my daughter to ride. (does she count as a “girl friend”?)
