I had my first uni dream last night. I have really been working on wheel walking lately, so I imagine that is what sparked it off. I was on my unicycle riding along in a perfectly normal fashion. Then I do a flawless transition to wheel walking while still moving, and wheel walked for a little bit. I was doing so well that I took one foot off and did one footed wheel walking down the street for a while. Since I was coming up on a downhill, and I was doing so well, I went into a glide that lasted forever. This whole dream was on streets devoid of traffic. I really enjoyed this dream as I am only a level 2. (10cm by 10cm holding me up still)
I know there was another thread about dreams, but it was only about freewheeling. Please post any of your unicycling dreams here. Or comment on my dream. Or someone else’s dream.
When I was waiting for my first uni, I dreamed i had it and was going downtown on it. I came to the cross-walk paused for a second then cartwheeled across the street, while still holding my uni between my legs. I then just continued to ride. There was more but I can’t remember now. Has anyone even ever done that?
I had my first uni dream the other night (after 5 months of riding)! Now i seem to have one almost every night!
I think it might have something to do with me finally getting my new cranks, I could start riding again and got really into it. Basically now all i think about is unicycling so how could i not dream about it?
The first week I owned mine I had a dream I was riding around at speeds faster than I’ve seen cokers go (it was a dream). I was riding about my neighborhood and there were two men who were brothers. One brother was trying to marry his brother’s daughter (but it seemed normal, as it was a dream). Well they all started chasing me while I was riding and I said “You’ll have to catch me first!” then I slowed down and they caught me. But I got away again and said “You’ll have to catch me a second time!”
Wow…I never realized how weird that dream really was.
I had a dream recently where I was hopping, but in between hops I was waiting in-balance for about 30 seconds to a minute, and it seemed like the easiest thing in the world. I don’t remember much else.
Has anyone had a dream where their unicycling capabilities were the same as in real life?
Speaking of real life, I upped myself to level 3 today! Yay! Thanks for the advice on the 10 by 10 and the stomach riding. I finally understand how to put a little hop into it without actually jumping.
I had a dream and all my friends were riding (even non riders) and we all had lightsabors. Darth vader was in a tree so i rode up it and cut his hand off.
what a cooincidence! my friend slept over last night, and immediately after waking up he told me that he had just had his first unicycling dream, and he doesn’t even unicycle! (tho he is buying one in a few weeks, probably a sun, but im trying to convince him to buy a nimbus muni. anyways thats besides the point). he said that in the dream, he walked outside my front door, went to this nearby lake that was frozen over and saw this guy unicycling on it. then all of a sudden these cops drove over and starting shooting at him! really weird…and my friend doesn’t even do drugs
haha, this one brongs back memories of before I could even ride a unicycle. I used to be (and still am) into the freeride mtn. biking scene. so, I went out and bought New World Disorder 2. I was watching, then I saw Kris Holm riding trials back in the early days, when this stuff was just catching on (as my sources tell me at least). I instantly fell in love with all things unicycling. A few weeks later, I drempt that I was in British Columbia riding trails with Kris. I interpreted this as meaning I was “divinely chosen”, if you will, to ride a unicycle. I ran out to my bike shop and bought my first uni that same day. and sure enough, I was riding unassisted within 2 hours. I still have dreams about unis, but none that impact me as much as that first one did.

A few months after I started unicycling, I ordered a 28" unicycle. In the
time between ordering and the delivery, I had a dream about a very smooth
ride on a large unicycle.
But my dream was wrong, in real life riding the 28" was much different than
my dream said. Maybe I need to try a coker one day.
It’s a pity that this was my only unicyling dream until now. I hope to get
more soon, because in dreams you can go through the limits.
I had a dream about a month after I learned to unicycle that I was riding down a hill by my house with my legs away from the pedals just coasting. I thought it was crazy and impossible. Then I found this forum and it turned out to be a real trick! I also recently had a daydream in Math class that it’d land a big 30" hop onto a specific concrete ledge. Then, on Thursday (actually about 2 weeks later), I landed it! That much closer to my goal of a 36" sidehop someday.
I had a dream that I was unicycling around a pool, and my art teacher from school (who can’t ride a unicycle) was trying to learn how to glide.

I just ordered a Nimbus II, and that night, I had a dream where I woke up next to a KH trials uni, but I couldn’t touch it, because it was my girlfriend’s son, I think (She doesn’t ride, not does she have children)
Although my first dream was some 5 years before I got my first unicycle. I dreampt I was riding home from school, and I got to this one hill, and suddenly I couldn’t use my leg, so I had to ride with one foot, but I kept falling off. But I kept trying…
And I’d never seen anyone do anything of the sort.
i had a dream that i was riding around this back yard juggling clubs, (i can’t ride and juggle @ the same time, and i’ve never even touched a juggling club in my life) and this little kid’s party was goin on. everyone was just walking around, not even taking notice of my incredible skills. but it was cool, tho, cuz the kids mom came up afterwards and payed me $150.
I had another unicycling dream. I unicycled up the sheer face of a cliff somehow (must have had super grip tires), but the hards part of unicycling up a cliff is bumping up over the angle at the end.
Oh, oh, I also had one where I was riding my uni around a miniature golf course, but no one was playing golf. They were having a tea party. It was a very hard golf course, because there were skinny parts that went over water you had to hit your ball across. So what did I do? I rode my unicycle across them. Then my unicycle fell in, and I pulled it out, but it was all rusty. I was sad. But then it wasn’t rusty anymore, and I was happy…
