Unicycle volleyball...

Has anyone tried unicycle volleyball? I haven’t but my grandparents suggested it to me the other day and I reckon it’d be great.

Andrew

It sounds like fun.
You would probably need a lighter ball and/or a higher net to make the game slower and make it easier to get to the ball.

isn’t this allready being played?

we’ve messed around with a basketball before and it’s good fun idling and bouncing on a giraffe
u need to put some extra effort into the bounce to get it back up to u
i’d quite fancy having a giraffe-seated ‘striker’ in a game of unibasketball

I don’t think it would be possible with normal volleyball rules; you can’t
react fast enough on a unicycle to get to a specific point on the court.
We’ve tried it a little.

I think this may be do-able with a beach ball or large balloon.

Re: Re: Unicycle volleyball…

oh, volleyball?!?

, where is the “IDIOT!!!PAY ATTENTION” button on this page?

:o

Sounds like fun to me. I haven’t tried Volleyball but bit of Basketball now and then. I’d give it a go and possible join in the fun with the others. Good Suggestion Andrew. A lighter ball is the best suggestion.

It was tried in Frankfurt in 1999. Lars Burgstahler described it here
on the newsgroup way back then:

See the Been There, Done That (on a Unicycle) page for more sports
played on a unicycle.
