Ok, so, here’s the deal. I’m planning on making a video, soonish. Or at least I’m planning on going for several rides and then Luke will make a video of me. So I thought to myself “hey, why not everyone else also make a video?”.

And thus, this thread came into being. I’m thinking we have a relatively short amount of time, say 2 months(?) and then at the end of this 2 months, whoever “we” are posts a video of the riding of those 2 months. For the hell of it, because I can’t be bothered thinking up categories.

So, who’s in!?

Well, I’m going now, but I’m sure I’ll be checking back on this thread sometime tomorrow. If anyone had replied.

I will be making a video over the next couple of months. It will be my first video and my skills will not even compare to yours but still.

I started filming the other day and i’m finding that it’s gonna be harder then I thought but I think it will turn out half decent.

It’s kind of like that video competition there was a while ago. Except it’s not a competition…

So it’s really just a “Hey everyone! Make a video!” thread.

Just some friendly encouragement because I think more people would make a video if everyone else was making a video.

In the process, I’ve been tired lately, so I’m trying to find any motivation I can to finish it.

I probably will, but i need to fix my rim. I also have to go riding somewhere besides here to get motivated.

ill do it but i got work most of this week and im goin to naucc and out of state in about a week so my vid wouldnt be made for about a month…
can more than just me be in it?

I have a cell phone camera and no editing software…

I’ve never made a movie like this in my life…

I’m making a vid… It’ll be done once I get some footage from Jerrick and if Mike decides to send me any.
I’ve finished my part. It’s not impressive but it’s still a vid.

These days everything has a camera on it in some way. You should get a digital camera that has a video option, that’s what I use, and they’re pretty cheap these days. You could probably pick one up for about $100. Plus, digital cameras are handy to have around anyway.

I have started, well I got a few shots yesterday, Im in no rush to finish it and I want it to look decent but I think I should be able to finish it a month its too hot at the moment but I may try film some more later. hows everyone elses going?

Well, yes… my cell phone takes ok video… probably not much worse than Youtube… I wouldn’t try to make a movie with just stills… that would be like the slide show your uncle Louie makes you watch from his last trip to Hawaii… in 1968…

I’m not gonna have extra money for a real video camera by the time September rolls around… so I will just have to use what I got…
