Unicycle tricks in right order !

Hello ! I am wondering if unicycle tricks are easier to learn in correct order. Can somebody write a list of his first tricks in right order * 10 tricks/ at least. U can certainly write more or less.

I learned different kinds of mounts first becuase that leads you to different things.

  1. Static Mount
  2. Side mount- 2 wrap around side mount- 3 wrap around side mount- side mount while riding
  3. Jump Mount- Suicide Mount
  4. 180 unispin mount- 180 unispin- 360 unispin

Then once you’ve learned all those mounts I would try learning to go backwards and learn to idle. But from there on out I have no experience.

The gliding and one foot idle(etc.) is up to you.

The simple answer to your question is ‘no’. Doesn’t really matter what order you learn tricks in - just whatever you want to learn, have at it.

Try to master the riding first, learn backwards and one footed before trying to do all the fancy street tricks that have been popularized lately. Once you get better at hopping go for all the other stuff. Just do it!

The order I learned in:

riding forward
freemounting
stalling/standing still
idiling
riding backwards
1 foot riding
jump mount
1 foot idiling
180 jump mount

everyone is different though as a rule of thumb I think its a good idea to learn to ride before you concentrate on the mounting. Whats the good of learning to freemount if you cant go anywhere once you’re on

There isn’t at all a correct order, but most tricks/skills are proggressive, such as gliding or seat drags.

for example:
to learn to glide-
learn to wheelwalk
learn to one-foot wheelwalk
one foot wheelwalk downhill and try to glide for short bursts
try a slightly steeper hill and transition directly to gliding
finnally, try gliding on flat.

i learned in this order. took me about 2 months

freemount
forward riding
hopping
jumping up curb/steps
jump mount
suicide mount
180 jump
rolling hop
1 footed riding

and i am currently working on
wheel walk
backwards
idling
i want to do 180 unispin but am not very good yet
seems to me you can learn in any order you want.

dont listen to them, do the levels first-http://www.unicycling.org/IUF/levels/
Up to at least level 5, that will take you a while, once you have mastered the main things, like hopping you can move onto the street levels…

The rough order in which I learnt what I can do:

Forwards
Mounting
Hopping
Idling
Backwards
1 foot with left foot
Rolling mount
180s
Seat-out hopping
Jump mount
Suicide Mount
1 foot with right foot
1 foot idle
WW
1 foot WW
Grinding
Glide

The unicycling skill levels are a good outline in which to follow, but if you feel like you’re getting the feel for something that is a level 4 item and you haven’t yet learned to do one of the unrelated level 3 items…just go with it. Everyone learns at a slightly different pace and order. Just dont attempt a backwards figure 8 one foot wheel walk before you can ride straight for 10m

yea I didnt learn seat on the stomach till level 5 (though I hadnt tried it either…) I did these levels untill I came to unicyclist.com by that time I was doing stuff from level 8 (piroutte) to 10

funny you should mention the riding on stomach bit. Thats exactly the item I had in mind when typing that as I did the same thing. I actually had a GB4 handle on my only unicycle when I was at that level so riding on stomach put my neck in the path of the forks if I UPD’d forward so I just didn’t learn until I got a freestyle cycle.
