Unicycle Transportation

Hi, I was wondering how everyone transports their unicycle(s), on a plane, or on a bus. Does anyone have the Roach Travel Bag?

Thanks,

Dale

I disassembled a 20" Torker and put it in my luggage. That worked out OK and I only had to take some tools which I should have with me anyway.

I put a 29er into a bicycle box that I cut down to a square which met the lineal dimension requirements of the airline. I stuffed all of my protective gear around it as padding. I marked out anything that suggested that it ever had a bicycle in it. Airlines like to charge big bucks to fly bicycles around.

Re: Unicycle Transportation

I bought the largest “Samsonite” duffel bag they have (at samsonite outlet store), which worked just fine for my 24"…I just had to take the seat and peddles off. This left plenty of extra room for all my pads, helmet, tools, jacket, extra clothes, etc. I took this to Moab last month, and it worked fine…net investment was about $30.

hi Dale

I acquired a very old hard shell suitcase, slapped all my unicycle.com
stickers on it, removed the saddle and pedals from my sons uni then
loaded the uni on one side and my travel clothing on the other. I placed
a strap around it and checked it as luggage. No questions were asked.

Cheers,
Jason
