unicycle transport

A while back I posted a message on this newsgroup concerning how to travel on an
airplane with a unicycle. What I did with my unicycle is this: I deflated the
tire, disconnected the post, took the pedals off, put some pipe insulation on
the tubing and stuck it in a cut down bicycle box. I also used bubble wrap to
pad it some more. The seat, post, and pedals went in separate bags. It worked
fine, without any problems.

That’s a lot of work!! I mentined this before, and it may sound strange. I do –
nothing, if I only have on unicyle. Beleve it or not, it works and I rarely have
real problems. More often than not they say, “Hey can yu really ride that
thing?”. Sometimes it gets me across customs faster, too.

Although the JUA has a cool unicycle bag, which many of you have bought,
personally I have a simple policy: “naked unicycle” are beautiful
