I tried to find a WAV link for The Motorcycle Song , but I gave up the search.
For those of you who aren’ t familiar with this tune, you have to rhyme “cycle” with “pickle” in the first line, and then rhyme “cy” …(cle) with “die” in the next.

This isn’t the right song. Anyway, Arlo probably isn’t the wealthiest guy in
the world… go out and buy the CD. Its on an album called Alices
Restaurant… which is definately worth listening to for the title track
alone.
people should send arlo money and lots of it, if only for alice’s restauranrt masacree
i love the suggestion of the uni version of the motorcyle song
not quite a match for alice in terms of length, i know of versions running up to about 12 minutes
if u can idle, strum a guitar and sing the unicycle version of the song, let me know
i’ll fly out to come watch!
u mean ‘geared’ as opposed to unplugged?
didn’t think so
whil on the subject of big wheels lets not forget about that classic piece of ‘swamp-rock’
‘big wheel keeps on turning
proud mary keeps on burning…’
could be applicable after plenty of miles

How about BST, Spinning Wheel?
What goes up
must come down
spinning wheel
got to go around
talkin’ ‘bout your troubles
it’s a cryin’ sin
ride a painted pony
let the spinning wheel spin
-Tom
I always thought that Blood, Sweat and Tears song was about either a Merry-Go-Round/carousel (ride a painted pony), or a roulette wheel, or both… either way, it seems to be a horizontal wheel…
You don’t know me, but I feel like I know you since I’ve been following along with great interest for some time now.
Couldn’t resist adding this to the unicycle playlist.
“This wheel’s on fire,
Rolling down the road,
Best notify my next of kin
This wheel shall explode!”
The Band
(Speaking for myself, of course. I’m sure you all have it under control)

We used that one for a spinning plate act in a children’s circus…
