I went and got myself a unicycle tattoo.

LOL! nice one. Where is it? from the pic it looks like your arm, but it could be your leg…
It does look like his arm, but in the lower picture it’s clearly his leg.
Oh.
I appologise for my stupidity. I think I was looking at the pics as the page was loading and it stopped for a sec halfway through the second pic. I got bored of waiting and closed it.
What a FOOL I am.
Hehe!
Well done! That’s a great tattoo.
Andrew
Great detail! Looks big enough to ride.
Re: Unicycle Tattoo

“that’s one more of us and one less of them”
nice one!
Matt,
Nice shot. What is the tattoo on your leg there and what’s it say?
Dave,
What are yours and where are they? (It’s probably posted somewhere, but I’ll ask anyway).

Unicycle Tattoo
Lookin’ good, Raphael!
What size cranks do have on that uni?
Does the wheel iddle when you flex? Will Emma be getting one?

It does something, but I don’t think I’d call it idling. More like taco-ing, actually.
My daughter has extremely little tolerance for pain and we’ve made it pretty clear how much getting one hurts (which is no lie). But she knows that when she’s 18 and wants to part with the cash, it’s up to her.

A word of caution to Jagur…
Tattooists will NOT accept your existing Uni tattoo in trade for your next one.
Re: Unicycle Tattoo
oh well,my skin is clean anyway
Raphael,
The one on the leg was from a straightedge group I USED to be part of. It says Stay No in old english. The one on the side of the leg was from this Derek Hess poster:
My sleeves are kind of a traditional western interpretation of japanese style tattoing, whatever that means! Fire/Death on one side Water/Life on the other. Or was it Fire/Life on one side and Water/Death on the other. Guess it depends on what part of the world you live in!
Anyway I really like the Uni on your leg… Too Cool
I like that image.
Ok, so where to begin? What’s “straightedge”? Is “Stay No” a phrase of some significance? I actually dabbled in old english when I was in college and still have the texts, but didn’t get very far. As I told my professor, I really needed some audio tapes of native speakers, but he didn’t seem to be able to produce any.

Here’s a pretty good definition of straight edge:
The Stay No was a play on words of ol’ “just say no” campaign.
The old english was not nearly as glamorous as what you mentioned rather the look of “gangsta” style tattoos of the time. We liked the irony of being kind of a gang that was sober. Silly kids.
Sorry folks if this is too personal and OT but i figure if you’re following the thread still you are ok with it.
