Unicycle styles

Can anyone give me a complete list of all the unicycle styles? The ones I’ve got on my list so far are: Muni, Trials, Freestyle, Street. I need to know about every style so that I can write about it on my homepage.
Thanks for any help!

Styles

Yo, A websit huh? You should hook me up when you’re finished. Hm. I have alittle different names for some of the styles, but pretty much the same.
Trails - Kidna like muni, less extreme in my mind
Freestyle - Unispins of all sorts - Most people group riding styles under this
RidingStyles - Name explains it
Muni - Everyone knows this one, Beginning section 10 in universe 2
Street - Grinds, hoptwists, lol, um… Dan Doerksen style
Trials - Object to Object jumps, and lines. Kris Holm style, first song in universe 2

Distance riding generally done on a Coker
Commuting
Group routines for parades and halftime shows at basketball games
Track racing, 100 m, 1500 m, etc.

Sports/games (hockey, basketball, quidditch)
Distance/endurance races
Shorter races (100 meter dash etc.)

Other than that I think you have all of them.

Ok, so now I kneed to know a little about trails (not trials, I’ve already written about that), commuting, track-racing and group routines for parades and basketball games. I don’t know much about that.

when you say ‘trails’ do you mean XC or cross country, this is light Muni with the emphasis on distance rather than technical lines and big drops, people tend to ride larger wheeled machines like 29ers/cokers as opposed to 170 crank equipped 24x3" wheels

There are two primary styles of muni riding. There’s XC (cross country) and freeride. XC is more for distance and speed on less technical trails. Freeride is where you look for technical trails, usually with stunts. Freeride is the North Shore style like what Kris Holm does. Most people do a cross between the two styles, kind of a mix of XC and freeride.

XC style riding can be done on a less hard core unicycle. Freeride style requires a splined hub and a strong unicycle.

Right.
But what is commuting? (I’m not an expert…)

Commuting is using your unicycle as an actual means of transportation. That is most commonly traveling to and from work or school on your uni. This is as opposed to (but not mutually exclusive from) using your uni in the sport sense of MUni, trials or racing or the performance sense of freestyle or circus.

If you’re using your uni to get from point A to point B, you’re commuting.

Aha, I understand.
I now know that commuting is “pendling” in Swedish and I understand that word.
English isn’t really my first language (I’m born in New Zealand but I’ve lived in Sweden the most of my life), and that’s why I didn’t understand it.

Ultimate wheel-Mostly either racing or routines.
Two wheeler-Always routines! (can you imagine MUni on a two wheeler)

Tom Hanks and Elvis Preley are/were both related to Abe Linclon.

there is also uphill, wich is slightly different even though it is still usually type of muni with a lighter unicycle. i dont think its quite as fun because it wares you out more for your effort than other types of riding.

Thanks everyone you helped me a lot!
