Unicycle Song

Hi Everyone
I wrote and recorded a unicycle song! It’s sort of a beach-boys inspired thing about how great it is to ride around on a unicycle. It’s called “I’m On a One-Wheel” and I posted a free MP3 of it on my website. Here’s the link:
I’m On A One-Wheel (by Dogbowl)

It came out of a project I was working on–I was writing the music and doing the set for a theater production, and I managed to convince the director to have the actors carry around unicycles as their main source of transportation. The song comes in and out through the play, as sort of a unicycle theme…For me, it was just another way to promote the unicycle, and of course to indulge in my unicycle obsession in yet another way…

Anyway, I hope you like it! It’s dedicated to all unicyclists everywhere! (And that means YOU!)

Hey, you go, guy! Very creative and destined for fame.

Thanks for representing our sport out there in musicland.

Bruce

Re: Unicycle Song

The song is way cool. Never heard of a unicycling song before. I played it

Nice, it sounds like you are stepping/riding on cats at one point. It’s a weird backround effect, but I like it.

It would be a fun song to cover.

Great! Nice Job. Thanks for bring us a unicycling song! I think that is a first, except maybe in the circus!

I like it!

that picture is an illusion, Woody Wood Pecker just couldnt ride a kangaroo uni that fast with cranx that long.

So who’s up for making a video?

Nice job, it’s not a style I particularly like but it’s still good. How long did you spend making it?

I think the video should have 100 topless girls on Cokers riding down Bourbon Street.

But then, I’m kind of a letch.

I made a movie with that song: http://gallery.unicyclist.com/Freestyle-Movies

Last one in the gallery.

I like that idea, when can we start interviewing and training topless women to ride.

I’ll be the dressing room manager. OK?

haha thats pretty keul… I want your book too. How long is it?

Re: Unicycle Song

This production now also surfaced in JJuggle’s “Unicycle articles (but
wait there’s more…)” thread.

And that Tyler, is why I wear pads…
Good riding though. And nifty song Dogbowl!

That’s the best song i’ve ever heard!!!

you should make a whole album full of unicycling songs.

Nope! i’ve got two unicycle songs on my myspace i posted a while back

I like your song a lot though by the way

i like your songs but the vocals are a bit quiet. Is there any chance of you making them louder than the music?

David.

What ever happened to ol’ Mr. Dogbowl?

ahhh i love this song.

to tell you the truth though, i actually rode home from school (10km, the last 5 of which are uphill finishing with a STEEP BITCH of a hill). i listened to “i’m on a one wheel” by dogbowl the whole way home on loop.

i was on a bicycle so it was weird.
