Even though screen savers have no point since modern screens dont get picture freez (or whatever its called) it would still be cool to have a uni screen saver, Has anyone made one?
Re: Unicycle Screen savers.
I like the standard Windows “show photo album” screen saver. I set it to my directory of all my unicycling shots.
Here is one.
It’s an Onza one, that is Unicycle-ish. I like it. Download it.
This is slightly off-topic, but the Google ad displayed with this thread prompts me to comment. The Google ad is for popularscreensavers.com. They are what I consider a bad operation. I call their software crapware or junkware. Others call it spyware, but I don’t like that term. It’s better to call it junkware because that’s what it is. That junk clogs your computer, can make your computer unstable, and is difficult to uninstall. Don’t install stuff like that.
Beware of free screen savers. Some of them come with extras that you don’t want.
Free screen savers from companies like Onza are likely OK. It’s the free screen savers from companies that expect to make some revenue based on the extra junkware that they bundle with the screen savers that are the problem.
Personally, I use Webshots as my screensaver. As far as I know, it doesn’t contain “junkware”, and has lots of options. Since Kris Holm has his albums posted there, it’s easy to download great shots for the screensaver. Also, any photos on your local drive can also be added to the mix. Just a thought…
Use this for your own pictures…
Put the photos you want in a directory (and sub directories).
Then tell this app where they are located.
Adjust setting to your preferences.
I use my vacation shots.
