i’m from the Yukon and i ride a unicycle and i want to get a unicycle team together to go to unicycling comps! :)
Sometimes it’s easier to “make” them than find them. While putting the word out for other unicyclists around you, might as well start offering to teach anyone willing to give it a try. Though that may seem like a long-term solution, it can often be more effective than waiting for other local riders to find you.

Hey Man, I was just in Carmacks. I wish I could have stayed longer and done some fishing and unicycling.
Like John said it might be easier to make a unicycling group than find one, especially in places with low population density.
It’s tough staying excited about a sport when you are the only one doing it in an area. Get a couple loaner unicycles and start spreading them around. Who knows you might have a riding partner before you know it.
