Just a reminder that the Davis Cyclebration is this Sunday. The races are
scheduled for 9 AM to Noon on second street in front of the Varsity Theater. I
have talked to a few riders who have indicated that they were going and that
their parents were taking them. I haven’t heard from anyone else. I have a tour
permit and so we can arrange rides for anyone who would like to go, but whose
parents won’t be able to take them. There will be several races medals for the
overall 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers. There will also be separate heats of
each race for youth riders (you can participate in both, Woody was first and
third overall in two of the events last year).
There will also be a Mountain Unicycle Trials demonstration and John Foss will
do his Unicycle show.
I will be at Rickey Ranch for the Scout Skills campout (if you aren’t 1st Class
yet you can finish any o the requirements there tomorrow - with the possible
exception of the swimming requirements, although there is a pnd there). Let me
know there or call and leave a message. I am planning to arrive in Davis at 8:30
