Hey everyone!
Im bored at work and i was thinking, wouldn’t it be cool to have some unicycle movies on my phone to show non-riding friends how cool unicycling is? So i decided to encode a few trailers into phone formats for everyone to enjoy.
I have done the Universe 2 trailer, the defect trailer and the trailer to my video “one”. Universe and Defect are in .3gp and .mp4 format, just in case your phone can only play one type of file.
To save them, just click the links!
Then all you have to do is send them to your phone via USB cable, bluetooth or another method that you know. It sounds like a lot of hassle but its well worth it!
I have all my favourite uni (& others) films encoded to play on my Pocket PC. It’s come in very useful cos there’s this guy at uni who mountain bikes and I know when I talked about unicycling he had some misconceptions that need addressing. So I showed him Numero Uno. He was suitably impressed and has had his perception of unicycling changed for ever.
I well ok i stole some software off the internet thats a high tech converter. It converts clips to .avi and then you install a thing on your phone and your good to go.
There is a Video converter called Videora, and it’ll convert almost any type of video format into mp4 and whatnot. I have Defect, and Universe2 on my ipod video.
You can try MediaCoder. It’s a free open source app. No watermarks to deal with. I don’t know how well it supports the mobile phone formats or iPod formats.
