Unicycle Lessons help

Hi

I am trying to teach myself to unicycle basically by trial and error at the moment. I am making progress but slowly so I want to get some lessons so that I can get up to at least UUU/IUF Skill Level 1.

Does anyone know someone that does this kind of thing. I live in Loughborough in the UK so I can cover the following areas easily Nottingham, Derby Leicester, Coventry and Birmingham.

Post a reply, email or PM me

Thanks

Paul

I live near Ashby dlZ and am trying to learn to ride my unicycle
independently without much success. I wonder if collaboration may help us
both?

Re: Unicycle Lessons help

Paul, you are fairly close to Kidderminster where there are regular
Unicycle meets held, these are a good oppotunity to meet other riders and
pick up tips and hints as well as taking part in workshops ( including
beginner & intermediate ones so don’t worry it’ll all be too hard) For
dates check the Calender page at www.unicycle.uk.com. There are also some
clubs which have unicyclists around, Selly Oak and Nuneaton are two I
know have a number of unicyclists, Check the UUU web site
(www.unicycle.org.uk) for more info
on Uni clubs and a link to a juggling clubs list. If Derby is easy to get
to, then next Spring come along to the British Juggling Convention,
normally lots of unicyclists there and by then you’ll be ready for any uni
madness!

See you sometime
Sarah

I live in Loughborough too

Hi Paul, i just started at uni and i ride the unicycle so if you ever wanna ride give me a shout.
Tim

If you PM me your email address I’ll send you a copy of a little ‘How to Unicycle’ thing that I wrote a few months ago.

Andrew

Actually, as hard as it may seem, learning to ride a uni on your own is pretty easy.
But it is easier, and more fun, if you have some friends.
