The Times Good University Guide, on making friends in freshers’ week - “The irritating ones soon fade into the peripheries of the Gliding Club and the Unicyclists’ Association.”
Gliding club? That’s a strange stereotype to choose. I would have expected them to choose juggling and wargames.
What’s Gliding? And don’t tell me it’s a unicycle trick. I helped establish the name on that one.
Whatever you do, if you start a campus unicycle club don’t use the word “Association” in the name…
Or the president of the Unicycle Association will have to file a law suit against you.
