Unicycle Handle Update

I thought I’d address a few questions in the Coker thread.

Unicycle Source is distributing my handles, both right and left are available. I can’t guarantee this, but I think they are $40-45.

A few of you have asked me about mounting my regular handle on a unmodified Viscount. I have tried this, and have had no problems yet, though I still prefere the CF/Air seat for its comfort.

To do mount a handle on a Viscount, I drilled 3 holes from the bottom up through the metal base. I then attached the handle with “self-tapping” screws, ie they make their own threads in a unthreaded hole.

There is also information on my homepage.

I have seen another bumper/handle made by some one who did the European tour. This particular one also had room for a computer and a water bottle in the rear. What are the differences? More importantly, what does the handle enable you to do? Does it give you added power on hills?

I’m pretty sure that that was a complete frame that included a
handle/bumper built in.
