Unicycle Grinds?

Does anyone know if there is a record for grinding on a unicycle?

Thnx
Trev

hey,

i think unicycle grinds are very very cool and difficult too. the thinking for this trick with the unicycle must be “no risk, no fun”.

look here for some movies:

ive never seen kris holm do that. can he?

Doesn’t grinding like mess up your crank arm and pedal???
Thats the only reason I havn’t tried it…dont want to screw up a 300 dolar unicycle.
Or do just sponsered unicyclists grind and it doesn’t realy matter if they screw up theres???

No, you buy $300 cranks to grind on.

how do i grind?

how do i grind, i have seen it before on a short clip, cant find it, and cant seem to be able to get it right, i need to work up some courage and go and try it, but i dont know how to get up onto the pedal, and what pedal to use, what side, should teh pedal be as llow as itl go or what…?

who cares if grinding scratches up your cranks and pedals a bit… its fun and looks great!

RE: Unicycle Grinds?

Hmm and I’ve never gotten into grinding- too hard where I live to find places where you don’t
wreck whatever you’re grinding on.

Re: RE: Unicycle Grinds?

Isnt messing up what your grinding on part of the fun??

Re: Re: RE: Unicycle Grinds?

That is precisely how we will end up with signs that read,

“No Skateboards,
No Bikes,
No In-line Skates
AND NO UNICYCLES.”

We can preserve our freedoms by being responsible.

Re: Re: Re: RE: Unicycle Grinds?

i totaly agree, and the same goes for pointless pedal graps on wooden benches

Don’t be calling pedal grabs pointless.

.slap/slap--------ok,i wont

If you want to grind check out a skate park. The metal coping should help you slide easier. Also look for concrete with black marks on it, that’ll be wax to give you a little bit more sliding action.

I dont know about in your area, but near me I know of maybe 1 other unicycler that likes to grind. And I only know a handfull of other people that like to ride.

And I have used the fact that there are not any No Uni signs in my area quite often. And if No Uni signs do go up… I will just do what skaters do. Watch out for cops and keep on keeping on.

And yes I am a punk ass kid :stuck_out_tongue:

Surely pointless pedals wouldn’t harm the wood (not like aggresive pointed
pedals)!
