This is just a comment to let the group here know how cool virtually all of you are. I’m a member on another non-unicycle related list that has closed their membership. A friend of mine asked me to post for him about a bad experience with a vendor. Man, you’d have thought I accused him of murder the way they attacked me and through me, him. I remember here when we had a question about pricing on our favorite store, people responded by questioning and commenting, but no slamming the poster or responders.
This place is great with great people! Keep it up!
Yes , this is a great forum. Friendly people and extremely quick responses. This forum helped me out a lot when i was learning. actually, i am still learning and it is still helping.
He probably is. I bet he is lurking, or has created a different account. But who cares.
He may be lurking, but he didnt create a new account, he cant on his computer, because gilby blocked his IP address. He could be lurking, but hes probably not posting.
I liked Jus 10 he was quite the joker. Hes young and going through that time where he doenst know whats funny yet is all.
If he messes up again then you can kick him out for good. But come on lets be nice
Ohh Yeah this Forum is great. A year ago if you told me I would be chatting about Unicycles every day. Keeping up on the latest news, and whatnot I would have told you, you were crazy. You guys have deffenatlly opened my mind about what Unicycling is and how its more than just the one wheel. Its a family.
Perhaps I’ll even change my mind about conventions and make a trip out to the next Unicon if I can stumble on a few grand for plane tickets.
Thanks to all who contribute to this forum, take care
I started unicycling a few months ago and I’ve had heaps of questions answered by everyone here in the unicyclist.com forum. I’ve noticed that everone’s really helpful and they all spend quite a lot of time helping out someone they’ve never met before…I think it’s great.
Another thing that isn’t at all common in a lot of other sports is that all the well known unicyclists (eg. Kris Holm, Nathan Hoover, John Foss, etc.) are still very willing to give up their time to answer questions. I emailed about 6 of these people a few weeks ago (including the ones I listed) asking about cranks and hubs and that sort of thing and every one of them replied with really helpful suggestions. One even forwarded my question to another organisation for a better answer.
