Unicycle for christ

It’s scientifically proven that under the Earths surface is the crust, mantal, outer core and inner core. It’s not crust, place thats alway got fire the somehow live-able even under extreme heat by a half goat half man where people go when they die to live forever in torturous conditions, mantal, outer core, inner core.

of course it is, and then underneath that is the culture of the mole people.

Hahahahaa.

i dont get why you guys are makin fun of what christians believe…make fun of skrobo…he’s the one being an idiot…not me, not forrest rackared not the other forrest, not jerrick. We all believe this but we are not being idiots about it. Your making generalizations…

Then you must believe we’re going to Hell…that’s what we’re making fun of, the fact that all us cool kids are gonna be chillin’ with Satan in the afterlife!
Unless you don’t believe that, then, you know, whatever.

any one heard of old harrys game its a great radio program about Satan in hell (its a comedy).

I did a 20 mile coker ride today, and rode the final three miles for Christ. On the minus side, he did not thank me for my sacrifice. On the plus side, he did not laugh at me when I made a totally stupid UPD over a little bump in the sidewalk.

I can’t unicycle for christ, I’m too busy making my way through the list of other dieties to unicycle for, onto Sumerian Gods now.

Really?
I just started the Roman Pantheon yesterday!
Unicycle for Apollo!

Sean

I haven’t read this thread, so this might be a repeat.

As a Christian, you should live and choose your actions to better your relationship with Christ. Its kinda hard to do this while unicycling, but little things like a prayer for a good day of riding is fine, or maybe not riding on private property just to hit a stair set or rail, or not cussing because you missed a trick. Simple things like that.

I think you are thinking it as “Im gonna land a crankflip cause im Christian! Yeah!” When its not about that. Generally, the “Ride for Christ” implies that, but its just the shortest and easiest way to say what I explained in my first paragraph.

And its not like we dont ride to have fun either, no one has ever said that, so that idea is kinda "eh  " lol. I know I love landing new tricks and clearing a trials line, or finally getting up a ledge, or having a sweet day of muni.

EDIT: Well, I just read this thread now, and it seems most of everyone is taking it as a joke, and from this,

It seems like you think we, Christians, are all stupid, and im sorry you feel that way about us, and what we believe and base our life on.

If it makes you feel any better, I dont think you are a loser.

Thanks Sponthumb. But I don’t think Skrobo should really be made fun of. Sure he has made a lot of threads, but he is just trying to be helpful. If people don’t like it, they don’t have to open the thread, read the thread, or reply to the thread, usually saying “I hate these threads…”

There’s quite a few threads made here that I have never clicked on, because I don’t want to, its not a hard thing to do, but im sure most of you just have fun making fun of the whole idea and the people seriously partaking in the threads.

You can also put people on your ignore list if you want.

The more you know.

i get were your coming from jerrick but he could just bumped one of the many other uni for christ threads…but whatever its jc

oh wow, ouchie, make fun of ME… for PUTTING IT OUT THERE, I’M CHRISTIAN!.. actually, you really want to know? I’M CATHOLIC!

you’re not going to change that, now what is the point in making fun of me, anything you say is just going to reassure me that i’m doing the right thing, think about your beliefs compared to mine.

make fun of me all you want, say i’m rediculous for starting so many threads, I don’t care. i’ve made just as many videos as i have unicycle for christ threads (anyone wanting to do the research is more than welcome to, i’ve made 2 or 3 vids that never got posted anywhere). noone seems to mind when i make a video. i hate to use him as an example, but i know danni hates the topic of christianity, but he lets that stay what it is, if you have to create a thread … or 5 for everytime i make a christianity thread, thats your loss, think about it, God is a BIG deal.

Skrobo, The thing is that nobody like to be preached at. I have my beliefs than they clash with some other peoples that is fine. I think that the big reason that people are making fun of you lately is this post in response to a perfectly valid question. Should people not ask questions about things that they don’t understand? How else are we supposed to learn.

I don’t think that anyone should be made fun of because of their belief system especially since it is such a big part of peoples lives and they can be easily misunderstood and people offended.

You telling people that they need to accept god is not going to change peoples minds. In fact it strengthens the idea that christians keep trying to push their ways on other people with no real logic.

I admire the strength of your faith and there is no question that you are amazingly skilled as a rider but come on man just let it be, does it pain you so much that I am going to die a heathen?

Then dont listen. It could be worse, we could have big bold letters in bright colors saying you will go to hell, you all must convert, you are all wrong!

Trust me when I say I understand about being preached to. As a Christean, I am almost cursed, as Christianity is one of the biggest religions, so constantly, I am being attacked, verbally, and physically. Not just little things being said, but the most vulgar things being yelled, being cussed at, ganged up on. Its not pretty. What Skrobo is doing can be annoying to people, sure, but its comparable to a pop-up. Shows some information, you can click to learn more, or close it if you dont care.

Yeah, the 2nd part of that post was a little harsh. People should ask questions all the time. =p

Agreed.

It can. Not so much forcing it on them, because thats not possible, but Skrobo isnt forcing it on anyone. People have asked about going to hell, and Skrobo, and I have in the past, will tell them what we believe to be true. Im sure lots of people dont like what we will say, and exaggerate parts, but so far, from what I have read on these forums, nothing is really being forced.

Yes. As you said how you admire how much faith Skrobo has, think, for someone who believes so strong in something, and for everyday when he goes out to try and be helpful and spread the word of Christ among everyone, and then he is turned on everyday by a large percent of people, called names, rejected, and made fun of, it can be emotional.

It can hurt, maybe not so much online, but with real life situations, when you watch your friends ruin their life and all you try to do is help, but they just push you away to the point where all you can do is watch and just hope/pray for the best.

Why can Atheists not join the boy scouts of America? Why did ‘Under God’ be added to the pledge of allegiance? Even though The Constitution clearly states the USA is not founded on Christianity, (‘As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion’ - The Constitution).

How do you think I feel when, I give MY money to the Government to pay for other peoples faith? When I feel restricted in what I view in front of Christians because its blasphumus? When people blow themselves up, murder, rape people because of their faith? When I get told I’m ‘going to burn in hell for eternity’ for not believing in, frankly, a ludicrous story?

A slightly het up,
Mike

Me too. Actually, I’m a recovering catholic.

Not all Christians are really Christians. Lots of people say they are Christian, but then say and do non-Christian things. If it was me, I would include Atheists and anyone else really. Just two nights ago, I let Jackie, who is gay, stay at my house for the night, let him eat whatever he wanted, use my comp, or anything else he needed. I was doing it as an accepting Christian, and as a nice friend. God loves everyone, so for me, living my life through and for god, I too will love everyone.

(Sorry Jackie for using you as an example. It was a fun night and the following day was awesome too. That steep hill was sweet to bomb down. lol)

Was under god added? I thought it has always been like that. I don’t know, and I don’t know much about the constitution either. Both subjects I have never thought much about. Sorry.

Probably the same way I feel. I have had my money given to things and places that I didnt want it to go.

I feel restricted too. Honestly, most times I want to stay out of all conversations like this, cause I know as soon as I type one thing defending my faith in Christ, it will all go from there.

I dont like the murder, rape and all that stuff either.

And im not surprised if you are upset when youa re told you are going to Hell. It upsets me when i am told that my life is a lie, that I am a looser for being a Christian, that the faith I have is pointless and so on. But, I accept that. I accept that I will tell what I believe is to be true, and I will be told by others what they think is to be true. Im sure most of the time you will not agree with I say, and that I will not agree with what you say, and that we will both hear and read things that we would rather not have to read and hear.

Funnily, you and me believe in different things about religion, but the feelings we have and what we endure sounds about identical.

So you’re not Christian?
Do you believe that Christians are going to Hell, and only Catholics are saved?
Do you believe that the Pope was handpicked by God himself, as was each King of England, up until recent times?

who said that? I don’t know of any rule or anything like that in the Boy Scouts that says Atheists can’t join… I know plenty of Atheist Boy Scouts… that’s just silly where did you hear that one?
