><>Unicycle For Christ<><

ok, so here it is, I don’t mind if you want to criticise and attempt to degrade this idea. I don’t think anyone else does either… Just read this post in its entirety first PLEASE… im almost begging here…

so please, if you are going to post read this post first, and keep in mind that I am not trying to exclude, i am trying to connect.

come on guys, people shouldn’t have to post stuff saying things like this…

now for the part that forms the topic of the thread

><>Unicycle for Christ<><

this is for the people who are serious, not seriously kidding

unicycling for Christ is easy.
the beauty of it, is that you do it how you please, feel free to express how you unicycle for christ in whatever way you feel is reasonable; im not saying jump up and down on your neighbors car naked, and drunk, but I am saying have fun, enjoy riding, and just remember that God is awesome. That is all it takes

so if you want to join, drop a message here or PM me, and I will send you a PM… maybe … I think i said what I needed to…
one more thing… if you want anything w/ the logo on it… its all HERE

Thanks for reading the whole thing

Classic stuff…using a bunch of the previous “enough of the unicycling for christ threads” comments to form the basis of a new thread. Very post-modern.

I really do want to be a part of this “club.” I am a Christian, and i think this is a cool thing. lol, I pray when i really want to get a trick and it’s not happening.

The Jewish Unicyclist thread (there really is one) never gets any action. Why is that?

awesome, I’ll add your name to the list, I rarely PM people about this, only if they have questions, or something big and new comes up(only happened once)

because the majority of the religion practicing unicyclists are christian, and the idea stemmed from this.

PLEASE STAY ON TOPIC!!!

PLEASE!

Why would you ask that here? I may be wrong, but i would assume th only people who are going to read this are Christians, or anti-organized-religionists who want to keep this group from forming.

its a little too late for the anti people to put this down, it has around 40 members. I am sure that there are others who want to join, but don’t because they are afraid of being ripped on by the anti ><>UFC<>< people

PM ME!

Sounds good im in. But please dont use my name in a list for the single purpose of saying how great a club you made. You can put me on the list though just dont brag about it. Its for God not because you wånt to impress people.
Edit: kind of like what you just said… please dont do that.

Hey, what do we do in this group? Just put our names on a list and continue to glorify Him through our mad uni skills?

Isn’t this just segregating Unicyclists? We are a discrete group among the worlds population to begin…why break it into smaller segments?

exactly, thats the whole idea
do it how YOU want to … a trials line w/ your hands together like you’re praying would be pretty sweet though… lol

read the first post buddy, and you are off topic
no it isn’t segregating at all, please don’t be the spark that sets off the religious debate.

thats a good point, thanks, I won’t post the member #s or names anymore.

It only segregates if people decide to hate us for being proud of our beleifs. If i don’t want to be a boy scout, it’s not segregation if i don’t join. If a person wants to Unicycle for Christ, and we tried to tell them they couldn’t because they were short, fat, black, white, man, woman, that would be segregation.
EDIT: this is off topic though

I did read the first post. I’m not trying to start the whole debate I’ve seen it before. I was just curious…I just don’t think you can call it “uniting” unicyclists when its excluding unicyclists. But i’m sorry for being off topic i’ll leave this post alone i promise.

Thanks, good luck on keeping this thread on topic sentence to be said with no sarcasm in it:slight_smile:
Edit: thanks also to Chexjc

yeah, its going to be SUPER hard, if at all possible
and thank you chexjc

well, i’m going to bed, thanks for re-posting this. Glad to be in a group with such on target…ness…

Reminds me of that old saying: “There are only two types of people in this world…those that think there are only two types of people in this world, and those who know better.”

Why would you assume that anyone reading this thread has to be either Christian or anti-organized-religionists? A or B…us or them. Pro Choice or Pro Death, Blue State or Red State. Free your mind…

Without killing a brain cell, I can think of at least four other types that might be reading (or posting) in this thread.

  1. Christian sympathizers who nevertheless wish the Christians would get over their need to do everything “for Christ” and then talk about it in public.

  2. Insomniacs who hold strong religious beliefs but see them as deeply personal, not for sharing, and are therefore mystified by the need for threads such as this.

  3. A tired unicyclist heading into weekend after a long week of work, who can’t resist chiming in after a couple of bourbons.

  4. A combination of all the above.
