There is going to be a Penny Farthing and Unicycle event included in this years World Alternative Games in Llanwrtyd Wells.

We really like the wife carrying competition…
I will quote from the litterature:
“Little people and dwarf carry is encouraged!”
and
“The prize for the fastest couple is the wife’s weight in beer!”

I’ve been to the penny farthing worldchampionship once.
I found it very cool to watch, and certainly worth a “yes, why not?”.
And compare to 2x 11 grown-up men running after a ball the term “hilarious” is relative, even compare to the wife-carry contest.
