Hey everyone I was just putting this out really quick. I was on a ride today and was shot at 3 times with an airsoft gun. I was just uniing and a car drives by sees me and the driver, and pasenger laugh. I think so what allot of people grin when they see me. So i wave, and keep going. i get shot at, and don’t notice it/ get hit. this happens again. Then on the third drive by the shoot at me from only like 15 feet away. I think that they would only keep folowing me because i was on my uni. What do you guys think??
I was thinking about it but I don’t think that I want to
Next time return fire! That’s what’s great about unis. BOTH hands are free.
I’d suggest Sig Sauer P238’s. Dependable, compact, and Remington Golden Sabers rounds for plenty of stopping power.
huh I thought you guys in the USA all have real guns for those situations…
I prefer Sig P220 with some Federal Hydra Shok’s. With .45ACP, you get enough stopping power that you only need to carry one.
the Sig Saur p228 is also good…just putting it out there of course…i find them a very nice pistol to handle…
of course we have real guns for protection, but only from protection against other real guns with real bullets. There are strict laws against killing annoying dickheads
I’m not really sure why, but people seem to abuse us unicyclists. I’ve been called everything from faggot to “a better man than I”, but somehow, there are more negative comments than positive…
I read the article in Uni Mag last issue about that (as well as the longer version online), and I really haven’t had that experience. I’ve ridden all over the country and 1) kids are always impressed 2) teens want you to do a wheelie/bunny hop and 3) adults are either enthused or nonchallant.
I’ve never had anything thrown at me, shot at me, or yelled at me (in a negative sense).
Maybe I’m just special.
What they have committed is a felony.
Assault with a firearm. If you were to call the police they would be in some serious trouble if you had their license plate information.
Yeah, only in some states. CT and MD are two I know of where it is a crime.
Airsoft is not considered a firearm in most places (Texas was/is/are one of them; I suspect FL, too, but that’s unverified).
By Florida law it’s not considered a “firearm” unless the projectile is expelled using an explosion. It is however what Florida considers a “deadly missile”. And if someone were to believe that their life or the life of another was in danger, even through the reasonable presumption that a firearm was in use, one would be justified in using deadly force in defense.
In short, don’t try this in FL. We carry real guns. We will return fire. And the law is on our side.
Word.
