I read again my reply to John Foss’ reply to Ken’s comment about holding UNICON
XI and NUM.
I stand behind my comments except that they might have had an unitentional
negative connotation. I backed John Foss at the meeting when he asked for U11 to
be held in Washington State. Holding both conventions together, if organized
properly, can have a synergic effect. We do need some people with experience to
hold a UNICON. This is very close to Kris Holm territory and something
interesting must come out of that. I could go on and on (and probably will in
the future).
But there are some pitfalls that we must be aware of. I was not happy with the
connotation that I projected in my earlier reply. I just concentrated on some of
the pitfalls.
