This is a note to introduce myself as the organiser of the Hockey tournamant at
UNICON VIII. I’ve been playing hockey with the Lunis for the past couple of
years, mostly in goal.
Depending on the number of teams wanting to play the tournament will probably be
split into at least two divisions with the first division playing for the World
Unicycle Hockey Championship and the second division being more for fun. The
split will be on a voluntary basis and hopefully people will be realistic about
their choice of division. Games where the score is 15-0 aren’t really fun for
either side. This system worked very well at Eurocycle in 1994 and teams of all
levels enjoyed their games which is the main aim of course.
I would welcome any relevant hockey related articles or comments that
anyone has.
I hope to see as many people as possible in August and hopefully we’ll get in as
much hockey as possible.

Welcome aboard. Wish you luck. Just for reference, not much hockey goes on in
Japan, but we may put a team together on the spot? Can’t tell art this point.
