Looking at the picture for the start of the winery ride reminded me of the insanity that day. There was around 30 people on that ride. It was a ride that no-one there had done before. We only had verbal directions on how to get to the trail. We didn’t know what to expect on the trail. Didn’t know what kind of condition the trail would be in. I was having visions of 30 people going up a ridge and getting lost or going up there and finding an unrideable trail. Fortunately it turned out to be a very good (and technically challenging) ride.
