She was a beautiful dog. Do you know what kind she was? She had a bit of black on the tongue, so some sort of chow mix?

I knew you guys would have some, you were both some of Uni’s biggest fans. I have a great picture of Nancy and Uni I will send you.
She was definitely a chow mix, and I always thought maybe some kind of retriever maybe Black Labrador. Her main job was fetching balls and sticks, and especially from water. She would have fetched sticks out of the water until she drowned, she just couldn’t leave a stick out there if you threw it for her. I think the Lab would also explain her sweet disposition. But also she was so well socialized thanks to all of you and her getting to go to muni events from the very beginning.
