I recently purchased a home for the summer in the Adirondacks and will take my 24" up there this spring. It’s a stock standard Nimbus that has the Kenda tire and 125mm cranks. Do I need to make any changes to ride mild hiking trails? I plan to leave this one upstate permanently for light trails.
I think you will be find with some longer cranks. Tire should be fine if there is no mud
You ought to be able to ride mild hiking trails just fine with that setup. Of course if they are wet and not hard packed you may have problems.
