I’m not sure what I was trying to achieve with this…
It’s a sculpture of my unicycle I did using Super Sculpey which I then painted with acrylics. I learned so many ways to NOT build a unicycle doing this. From certain angles it looks ok, but man, oh man… I’m surprised it hasn’t fallen apart completely yet. It’s pretty dang rough, but I thought I’d share anyway.
I broke a bunch of the pieces after I baked them… which is really annoying.
In fact, I think I only finished the stupid thing out of spite.

I’d like to do another one once I figure out a better way to build the wheel and have the hub actually support the uni… and maybe make the wheel… you know…round.

Very cool. Don’t be so hard on yourself! Are the spokes really supporting the wheel? That’s impressive.

John: No, the spokes aren’t really doing much of anything. I wanted originally to have the spokes carry the weight, but I couldn’t really manage it. I had to use copious amounts of silicone rubber to hold everything in place instead.
