Uni on UK TV

I was in UK this week and I saw two uniriders the same day on TV. The first one
was in “The house invaders” where an uni was near the door of the invaded house.
The second one was a guy called “pinkman” who rides at Santa Monica (and falls
!) Are these guys well known?

I believe Pinkman used to ride around in Eugene, OR

Any thoughts on this?

Also heard of a Pinkman being seen (and heard) in Berkeley, CA about 3
years ago. The report I got was that a man on a unicycle, dressed in pink,
rode into a store (can’t remember if it was the Gap, or Tower Records, or one
of the ubiquitous coffee shops) and loudly proclaimed “Pinkman!”, then turned
around and wheeled out. But really not that unusual of an event for a town
like Berkeley.
