uni nicknames

Hi all:
I just noticed some of you have uni-nicknames like “Drewnicycle” and
“UniDak”
I wondering how many of you have already uni-nicknames, it’s very original to
use
your own name to create a uni-nickname. Basketball players like “Dr. J” or
Celebrities like “J.Lo” they also have their nicknames. I will be thinking in
one for my self.

“Kaboom” because of the way I fall, or because I keep exploding tubes in
my face.

One of my daughter Megan’s e-mail addresses is Meguni.
Very interesting animal names for the riders. All I need now is a translation.

At the Bath unicycle workshop I used to be known as “Unicycle Repair Man”,
after Monty Python’s “Bicycle Repair Man”, because whenever anyone had a
problem with their yike I always had the tools and the knowhow to fix it
there and then.

(In those days I used to post under the name of Akuma - I could start using
Unicycle Repair Man, but I prefer to post under my real name now).

Hai. I picked the name up from a story about a Japanese man who had named
his son “Akuma”, meaning “devil” or “demon”, on the basis that people would
remember him with a name like that. A legal battle ensued to force the man
to change the name. Apparently he won the case, but gave in to pressure to
change the name anyway.

I studied Japanese in my spare time when I was at university, but I’ve
probably forgotten most of it now.
