Uni in Sports Illustrated for kids

My brother gets Sports Illustrated for kids every month. Every now and then they send him a little book that they do. One book was a small history on Tony Hawk. Most recently he got a book called “You call that a Sport!?”. Any way MUni was in it. All the photos were taking by John Foss.

Who says MUni isn’t a sport?

btw, i remember the good old days of si for kids. that was awesome. im glad the sport seems to be getting some attention. someone mentioned something about it being on an npr website, men’s fitness magazine, and now sports illustrated for kids. sweet!

Cool! I was wondering when that would come out, and in what form. I got a very nice check for that one, my biggest ever for unicycle photography. Every once in a while it pays off!

So it’s a booklet that comes as a supplement to a subscription to SI for Kids? Is that how it works? I’m supposed to get one, but nothing so far. Best bet is for me to try to find one on my own…

Yeah I noticed it said “Photos taken by John Foss”. i told my brother “that’s the dude that takes the pics of people riding their unis into cars and stuff” (see things not to do on a uni).

btw other “sports” were toe wrestling, the international beard growing competition, and of course extreme ironing (yup you heard right).
