Uni in London

Yesterday between the showers I walked and unied across part of central London.
The trip from Victoria to Paddinton I wanted to fill about 2 hours so you should
understand i was in no hurry, just moseying on along admiring the buildings and
gardens. My trip took me around the Westminster school playing fields, through
Pimlico and up totowards Belgravia. I meet a bunch of kids who thought the uni
was cool and a big issue seller who said he had tried one but not managed to
ride. I pottered past a load of embassies and expensive addresses to Hyde park
corner and some large ornamental arch ways, then headed into Hyde park to follow
the cycle path north and west . Stopped for a buttie and watched the world go by
on two wheels , lots of two wheels use the park cycle way in the rush hour.

Leaving the park I followed signs for the paddington cycle route down quiet
residential roads, chatted to a pair of two wheelers going my way before they
peeled off to collect kiddy from nursery. The signage for the route got crap
around the edgeware rd but I pickrd my way along the back streets through St
marys hospital, much to the amazement of a few pacing fathers to be.Arriving a
Paddington I discussed with a comuter the advantages of uni over bike on
commuter trains, he told me bikes were not allowed on his train at rush hour but
unis should be fine as they will fit in the lugague racks.

All in all a very plesent way to kill a few hours before Hockey
