One trick I’ve found to finding good underground bands is find one you like on myspace then check out their top friends because they usually have a similar sound.

most of the ‘underground’ rappers I listen to I know personally, and hear live 90% of the time. few of them have myspaces, but a lot of them have albums and labels… wierd.
