Ultimate Wheels

With all this talk about Ultimate Wheels, I got to wondering. When is the
ultimate wheel coming to Unicycle Source? I’ve been seeing “Ultimate Wheel
(coming soon)” for a while now, so I was just wondering when it would appear.

Amelia-

Having recently purchased from John Drummond at www.unicyclesource.com (a 6'
Sem that arrived today, 4 days after the order was processed!), I asked him
the same thing myself. He said that he's not sure if ultimate wheels will
ever be for sale. He said something about someone promising him that they
would start making ultimate wheels to sell at the online store, but that
person obviously hasn't started. I guess this isn't much of an answer, but
it is a response stating that there is no definite answer... I think... now
I'm just confused...

it refers to Tom Millers Ultimate wheel kit to get a T bar with .5 inch threaded

My solution was to find someone who did understand instructions and had already
built one. Then I bought it off them. Try finding a person who is handy with
their hands and get them to look at the plans (I belive they blueprints are on
line - URL anyone?) Ask real nicely and offer a bribe or two. You might just
get lucky.

Failing that you can always whip the frame off a normal unicycle. That will
produce an ultimate wheel albeit a harder one to ride (the closer in the pedals
are to the wheel, the more success you will have trying to ride it).

Re: Ultimate wheels

Semcycle has an ultimate wheel listed in their catalog. 20", 24" or 26".
http://members.aol.com/semcycle/ You’ll have to download the PDF (Adobe Acrobat)
version of the catalog to actually see it.

Unicyclesource.com also has one listed in the catalog but it just has a note
saying coming soon.
