UK: Real Ale Wobble...

Hi,

Apparently this year is the 7th Real Ale Wobble. It is a 2 day mountain bike event in Wales of 15, 20 or 40 miles each day. At each checkpoint you get a free beer, all for your £16 entry fee! I think there are 4 checkpoints.

Dates are 13-14th November 2004. I don’t know if I will attend but I know of quite a few real ale drinking unicyclists…

Don’t forget the Exe River side ride on June 20th, lots of pubs on-route for those that wish to indulge:-)

…including the Double Locks? Probably the best pub for real ale in the whole of Exeter

This ride sounds like a local bike ride i did last year on my unicycle, I didnt drink anything seen so i was at work after and it was hard enough on my 26".

Well thats where I plan on going for lunch, so yes including the double locks. Don’t think we will get as far as the Turf Lock.

dam it i’m under age!

that doesn’t mean to say that i’ve never had the wonderful experience of being drunk though…heh heh

for some reason I find the prospect of a convoy drunken mtb’ers very amusing…

sounds like fun to bad I dont live in the UK and only 18 but what is the drinking age in the UK?

18, so you could come over and have a legal drink

only 1 month to go til I can come and do the same in your country
