Tyres for Nimbus 2 frame

What size tyre can I get away with? I have the blue nimbus 2. I was looking to get the Intense 24 X 3.0 and do a little light off road riding.I mesured the gap and it looks like only a 2.5 will fit. Im a n00b in need of help. Any help is cool.

if it only 2.5 wide get something narrower than a 2.5

If it’s the Nimbus Muni frame it can fit a 3’’ wide tire. I ride a IRC Kujo DH on mine!

From a guy who bought a whole bunch of them when he knew they stopped producing them. He said the only reason he sold me one is because he really liked to see me riding DH on my unicycle. It’s really sad that IRC stoped making the Kujos because they are awesome.

I sold my 24 a few weeks ago so i am getting a 26MUni after i sell my mountain bike

Its not a muni frame it looks like I have 2.8 in clearance side to side.

I will mesure mine tomorrow morning when I’ll wake up. I thought all te Nimbus II were the same.

Mine is about 3,5" wide. I dont know what frame you have exactly, I thought all the nimbus II were the same.

Dang I guess not. Mine was set up for street that must be the problem. Well thanks anyway. I might be able to pick up a DX 24 on the cheep.Keep your fingers crossed.
