My Addidas Nova’s got a hole in one toe a couple weeks ago so I figured what the
heck I’ll go to Kmart and try a pair of those Turf Shoes.

I had no trouble finding them; John’s picture is on the shoebox with the caption
“AS SEEN ON JOHN FOSS!”

I really like them! I don’t Muni, but these make me feel a lot more secure when
my shoes pick up some moisture from wet grass or pavement.

Grippy shoes are not just for MUni. I’ve been wearing turf shoes since they were
popular in the early 1980’s. They’re good for any type of riding, and if your
feet can abide the cheap MacGregor’s from Kmart, they are fine for everyday use
as well. I cut off the tongue flaps though…
