Try-all rim

Im wondering will it snap upon heavy impact ? I searched but ppl say it’s weak… but how weak ?

In what units would you like its weakness posted?

In Newtons? or mmHg? or kPa?

and I get banned for having immature posts ? atleast im not fricken in my 50’s… I just wanna know how weak… I mean if I go hop a 10 set is it gonna snap ?

Cody really messed up his rim really fast. He kept knocking it out of true and a 180 off a drop kind of killed it.

Sorry, there’s no unit of measurment for a 10 set.

Seriously, the Koxx team does some pretty big stuff with it, so either it’s strong or they get lots of free replacements.

sorry… um well its okay but i think… i dont know how to compare it…i have it and it works great. i havnt jumped a 10 stair only like 4s. I like it though it looks cooler and is lighter.

Keep it trued and tight. Everything should go well after that.

The spokes really make up the rim strength.

I am sure you already knew that though =p

If you are going to do big stuff on it then you probably shouldn’t get a drilled rim. If you are getting a koxx uni then get the street rim instead.

I kidna already got it…

Ah, then why did you ask?

Becasue he might want to know how hard he can ride it?

Obviously because he wanted to know if he can give it a beating or if he should be worried and take it easy on the rim.

either take it easy or just murder it fast and hope they give you a replacement for the weak rim

knocking it out of true has little to do with rim strength, thats just wheelbuild strength. If you use stronger shorter spokes and tighten them more you won’t have that problem.

I think the only way you can judge the strength is by watching what they do in the Koxx videos using the try-all rim.

That does not tell you anything. They don’t tell you how many those guys go through or any damage they do to them. There is probably a reason that they switched to the non-drilled rim for the street unis.
