Troma movies - anyone a fan?

Is anyone here a fan of the Troma movies (Toxic Avenger, Troma’s war, etc)? I saw their newest movie a few weeks ago called “Poultrygeist - night of the chicken dead”. It was probably the best horror movie I have seen in the past couple of years, and may even be my favorite Troma movie I have seen. It has…lots of gore, stupid jokes, hilarious gore, musical numbers, zombie chickens, nudity, and all the other classic Troma elements.

If you haven’t seen any of the Troma films, and like movies like Dead Alive, then you should check out some of the Toxic Avengers or Poultrygeist.

Yep, they are great. I’m after seeing the poultrygeist, it looks brilliant. I got Toxic Avenger 3, and I found ‘‘A Nymphoid Barbarian In Dinosaur Hell’’ in a shop for £1, so can’t complain, lol. Still looking out for other Troma releases, as they seem to pop up in the same shop now and then. ‘‘Class Of Nukem High’’ was a good one.

Cannibal: the musical is set as a popular stage play around here a lot (as it happened in Colo) See it if you haven’t.

Tasteless, perfectly bad, cheesy films…you gotta love em.

Cannibal: the musical and orgasmo were matt stone and trey parker movies, but they were distributed by Troma. I still need to see Cannibal the musical actually.

The original Toxic Avenger is amazing for sure.

Yes, I remember Trey and Matt did the movies, seeing as I live 10 minutes away from South Park - I am never allowed to forget.

I think they proved you can sell a bunch of movies just from a catchy/weird movie title.

Is Villa Grove in South Park? While driving across the States last year I stopped by a hot spring there (Orient Land Trust) that ended up being a naturalist area and then got snowed in for 3 days. Crazy area. It was only $20 a night for a dorm bed though and I guess there are worse places to be snowed in, but there were definitely some crazy people there.

You would have probably driven right through South Park to get to Villa Grove. Different county but neighboring. Might have been down close to the Great Sand Dunes?

285 takes you through South Park (Actually Park County)from Denver as you head Southwest.

Hah its okay, I sort of threadjacked my own thread. I know I at least drove through South Park to get there. I think we were on our way to the Great Sand Dunes when we stopped there, I have go to go back to Colorado again, my week and a half there was far too short. Camping at the Dunes there was one of my favorite times I have ever been camping.

(End of my own threadjack hah)

I need to order a few more Troma movies. I’ll definitely include Cannibal the Musical since I can get it from the same distro.
