Hello All I’m just starting to get more seriously into unicycleing and
I’ve decided to give trials a go - Does anyone have some advice/plans for
building up the uni? (bearing in mind I intend to make the frame).
Also is there anyone from Southampton England that fancys getting together
for a ride sometime?
Also look at www.reeder.unicyclist.com If you email Chris Reeder he can
give you more information, i.e. cut sheets, for any frame on his website.
The second frame (mud frame #2) is now my trials/muni. It was designed for
a Nokian Gazzaloddi 24x3" tire and Suzue hub (Chris says that I could get
a Profile hub to work, too). The frame only weighs 1.49 lbs.! This frame
would work great for a 24" trials setup. The suspension muni is basically
the same frame but it was made for a larger seatpost. If you haven’t been
on the list for long, most everyone agrees that a 24" trials unicycle is
better for rocks and other natural terrain and a Monty for more “urban”
trials. I personally prefer a 24" because I don’t have to pedal like crazy
to get from point A to point B.
