I just recently broke my KH frame at the crown off of a ~3 foot drop; I weight ~180lbs, and use a 400mm seatpost; I suspect that the extra long seatpost gave me the extra torque needed to snap the frame. This concerns me a good bit, since I do almost no street, and drop at the most 5 ft or so; I don’t really do anything hardcore or go that big. It seems to me that if I start doing larger drops, bigger ups, etc, ( which I hope to), then I stand a good chance of breaking another KH frame, if I buy another one- and they’re pricey. What’s a good strong frame for doing trials and some muni with, that ideally isnt too pricey or heavy?
