Im confused what should i do trials.street or both?
I was thinking of buying a qu ax trials 20" then i could do trials and street with it. Is this a good idea?
Both are fun do both.
do them both!!
The qu-ax is an awesome machine. get it.
Yeah, get the 20" qu-ax. Make sure it’s the splined one. I absolutely love mine!!
Qu-ax is lame… Go custom and be a real man!
get a kh 07 20 inch…that is if AEbike restocks…
The cranks on the Qu-ax are a too long for street IMO.
Qu-Axes are heavy too…
But hey, go learn to ride proper first before thinking about specialising. Sometimes you’ll realise that your interest changes or that you’re better at some aspects of unicycling than others.
Not really…they’re lighter than DXs. And the weight argument when defending a trials uni doesn’t really hold that much…weight.
I was assuming Brendon was on a budget, and if he is, then a Qu-Ax is a really good buy.
nobodys suggesting the kh…
Der the dx kicks ass and it is not heavy so SHUT UP ABOUT THE WEIGHT!
Anyone who shoots down a trials uni because of weight doesn’t know what they’re talking about anyway.
Duh I mean hold @#$'& @&*# 2 POUNDS that is gonna make you suck or be like Ryann Atkins… I don’t think so people need to get over the weight dx and qu-ax are both great if you dont have 500$ for a kh or ae doesnt have them…
…you mean water?
I mostly prefer the qu-ax cause of the color scheme…it’s my school colors.
i was thinking i probably will never do trials as i dont have the stuff for it and will do street all of the time so should i get like a nimbus II 20" instead or it would be a waste of money. The nimbus is like $200 cheaper than the qu ax and i wont be doing hell hard core stuff only like 1m drops at the most.
I’m a strong believer in not wasting money on a non-splined unicycle unless it’s beginner, distance, or freestyle…I don’t think the nimbus you’re talking about is splined. Trust me, getting a splined one, DX, qu-ax, or otherwise, is a very good investment, because you will get better and want to do harder stuff, and your unicycle is gonna have to keep up with you.
Im getting a KH wheelset for my freestyle uni…
switch wheelset, switch styles…
but i heard the nimbus 2 20" freestyle uni is really good.
It is, for freestyle, and some street tricks(not the ones that use huge obsticals)…as well as very basic beginners trials…i like the nimbus x longneck, myself…(correct me if i’m wrong, but they are almost the same thing?)
some ppl use the nimbus 2 frame for trials/street, just a different wheelset(heavier, usually, but splined)
guess which people?(notice above post, lol)
